INTERACT Assisted Living Tools

The INTERACT Assisted Living Tools are a modification of the INTERACT Quality Improvement Program 3.0 Tools. These modifications were made based on feedback from an ALF usability pilot-test of the INTERACT tools. The majority of ALF participants reported usability of the tools and experts in ALF care provided suggestions for improving the tools for use in every day care for residents. We encourage you to use or modify the INTERACT program and tools based on what your ALF already has in place.

About INTERACT

INTERACT (Interventions to Reduce Acute Care Transfers) is a quality improvement program that focuses on the management of acute change in resident condition. The INTERACT program includes clinical and educational tools and strategies for use in every day practice in assisted living communities. The goal of the INTERACT program is to improve care and reduce the frequency of potentially avoidable transfers to the acute hospital.
